This Tektite glow cone is a replacement waterproof Lens for Tek-tite Mark-Lite® and Mark III™ series of Stern and marker lights. There are 2 lens options- both give a white light, either a Clear lens that is transparent, or a white translucent coloured lens that gives a more diffuse light. These lights are often used to fulfill the requirements the department of transport has for paddling at night- Check your local state DOT website for requirements This cone can’t be used on the Tektite Mark Lite® Strobe and Mark III™ Strobes which have the Bulb integrated into the cone. The current Western Australian Regulations from the DOT website state when paddling at night that: “It is recommended that an all-round white light is displayed at all times when operating during the hours of sunset and sunrise on navigable waters.” and “During the hours of sunset and sunrise, paddle craft operating on navigable waters must carry a torch or lantern capable of showing white light.
