Replacement Boston style Valve. Boston Valves are used on lots of pack rafts, rafts, inflatable boats, blow-up beds and water toys, normally those with a lower pressure and lighter weight. Higher pressure items like iSUPs will normally use a different valve like a Halkey Roberts or leafield. Boston Valves are a valve with two caps. Top cap prevents air (and dirt etc) into the valve. Taking the top cap off allows access to the valve so you can pump air into the valve and fill up your craft with air but the valve in one way so it stops air from coming out so you can’t accidently deflate your raft when you take the pump off. The second cap or valve body removes the one way section and lets air escape quickly and easily for deflation. The third part is the base that is glued to the raft. This is a complete valve made up of all three parts. Two parts are easily unscrewed (and lost or damaged as a result despite the leash holding them to the valve) the third part is permanently glued to your raft. You may only need a replacement for some of the parts which will just be a matter of screwing the caps into place or you may need to replace the whole thing. This valve is suitable for complete replacement but may be suitable as parts for a replacement cap or valve body for most compatible boston style valves. This is the valve only and does not include instructions or glue.
