A rare and charming antique, this Kenrick & Sons No. 425 Cast Iron Cherub Door Knocker is a beautiful reclaimed piece dating from around 1880. Made by the renowned A. Kenrick & Sons of West Bromwich, this Victorian-era door knocker features a cast cherub figure with a decorative backplate and front plate—full of classical detail and aged character. Made from solid cast iron, this piece retains its original structure and features a deep patina consistent with its age. The fittings shown were included with the knocker on acquisition. The strike plate appears to be a later addition, while the top coach screw may be original.
