The Kajak Sport Greenland Roll Aid is a specialized training paddle float designed specifically for developing and refining kayak rolling skills. Unlike traditional paddle floats, it is not intended for self-rescue and should be used solely as a technique training aid. Two adjustable webbing buckle straps allow the float to be securely attached to the paddle at different positions (Closer to the end or further up the shaft for more or less assitance and or resistance. When mounted near the end of the paddle, the float provides maximum support for early practice. As skills improve, it can be repositioned closer to the paddler to gradually reduce assistance and increase the technical challenge. The straps can be easily adjusted to maintain a secure fit. The float may also be held in the centre section by hand, There is a strap over the back of the palm, allowing practice similar to the Avataq 2.0 configuration, or used directly for hand-roll training.
