Kajak Sport Roll Aid is a specialized training float designed to help paddlers develop and refine kayak rolling skills. It is intended purely as a technique training aid and should not be used as a self-rescue paddle float. For balance brace training, the float may also be placed on the paddler’s arm by sliding the hand/arm under the mesh section and inflating the float. With less buoyancy and support than the Avataq 2.0 with corresponding less resistance and drag, the Kajak Sport Roll Aid offers a natural progression for paddlers looking to further refine balance and rolling control. As skills improve, the amount of assistance can be gradually reduced by lowering the air pressure inside the float, allowing for progressive skill development. As with all on-water skill training, practice responsibly and develop techniques gradually. Training with a partner or under professional instruction is recommended.
